Dear Dancers,

We first would like to take the time to thank you for your continued support throughout this time in our lives. We are all being affected in a variety of ways and we here at LaPierre Ballroom are trying our best to accommodate. Keeping this in mind, we have updated our guidelines for Covid-19 (including variants) that we will be rolling out for the new year.
The operators of LaPierre Ballroom Dance Studio will require proof of vaccinations for students, guests and staff beginning January 3, 2022. Proof of vaccination must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination. Students/guests may display proof on a smartphone or present a physical copy. New Jersey residents, or anyone who received a COVID-19 vaccine in New Jersey, may present proof through the use of Docket or any other digital app. For those who can’t provide proof of vaccination, a face covering will be required at all times. Face coverings are still required when entering the building. Our policy will remain in effect through February 28, 2022.

Please understand that guidelines are put in place to protect you and our staff. Also, remember that we are all in this together. Help us to help keep you and your fellow dancers safe.
How we are keeping everyone safe:
We will be following the CDC's recommended guidelines to keep our employees and clients safe. In addition, we are taking the following precautions with our employees:

All instructors will have their temperature taken before entering the building.

All instructors are vaccinated.

Workers will sanitize and disinfect shared surfaces after each lesson.

Our students are required to wash/sanitize your hands before coming to the studio, and -most importantly - stay home if your feeling sick.

We are carefully monitoring the situation. The most important thing is to make sure we conduct business in a safe environment.
For our dancers:
Studio Entry -

Face masks are required to enter the building. Once you show proof of vaccination and are in the ballroom you may remove your mask.

Please wash hands before entering the ballroom. (Your teacher will also wash their hands before & after all lessons. There is also hand sanitizer provided at front desk and different stations throughout the studio)

Please only use the elevator to enter and exit our floor.

Private Lessons -

Face masks are required if you are not vaccinated.

Please wash hands before and after every private lesson.

Please be considerate of the next dancer coming in. Try your best to exit the ballroom as quickly as possible.

Group Classes -​

Please wash hands before and after every group session and use hand sanitizer.

Thursday Night Social Practice Parties -

After much consideration, we have recently started having our social dance parties twice a month. Face masks are required if your not vaccinated and we are still not serving beverages; so please bring your own.
