Dear Dancers,

First and foremost, we want to thank you for your continued support as we navigate operating our business during the pandemic. We stay up to date with the most current regulations put in place to keep our clients and our staff safe. Here are some updates to our guidelines at LaPierre Ballroom.

How we are keeping everyone safe:

We will be following the CDC's recommended guidelines to keep our employees and clients safe. In addition, we are taking the following precautions with our employees:

  • All instructors will have their temperature taken before entering the building.

  • All instructors are required to have a face covering.

  • Workers will sanitize and disinfect shared surfaces after each lesson.

  • Our students are required to wear masks or facial coverings, wash/sanitize your hands before coming to the studio, and -most importantly - stay home if your feeling sick.

  • The studio will limit the number of students in at a time and will not be allowing customers to use the shared common areas (reception area, coffee cart, water fountain, etc.). Rest rooms will be availble to one per person at a time.

  • We have installed a contact-less reception desk.

  • We are carefully monitoring the situation. The most important thing is to make sure we conduct business in a safe environment.

For our dancers:

Studio Entry -

  • Temperature check once you have reached the front desk. (Any individual with a temperature of 100.4 F and above will be asked to leave)

  • Please wash hands before entering the ballroom.  (Your teacher will also wash their hands before & after all lessons. There is also hand sanitizer provided at front desk and different stations throughout the studio)

  • Please only use the elevator to enter and exit our floor.

Private Lessons -

  • Face masks are required. (As vaccinations are beginning to roll out, we want to make everyone feel as safe as possible. Even if you are vaccinated, a face mask is still required.)

  • Please wash hands before and after every private lesson.

  • Please be considerate of the next dancer coming in. Try your best to exit the ballroom as quickly as possible.

Group Classes -

  • Group class numbers have changed from 10 to 14 people including staff. Please call and reserve a spot in each class. Reservations will be held on a first come, first serve basis.

  • Face masks are required.

  • Please wash hands before and after every group session.

  • Please be considerate of the next dancer coming in. Try your best to exit the ballroom as quickly as possible.

  • We ask that you please call on the day of the lesson, by 5:00pm to reserve a spot in the class.

  • Be sure to bring water with you and wear a mask. We look forward to seeing everybody!

Thursday Night Social Practice Parties -

  • After much consideration, we have recently started reintroducing our social practice parties once a month and will hopefully be moving into twice a month beginning in June. Face masks and temperature checks are still required upon entry and hand sanitizer has been placed around the ballroom for use after dancing with different partners. Also be sure to bring a water bottle as we are not serving refreshments still.

If you have any specific questions not addressed here, reach out to us.

We look forward to seeing you!
